Addictions We Treat

Current research indicates that a wide variety of addictive behaviors are characterized by brain chemistry, behaviors, and treatment needs similar to alcohol and other substance abuse.

St. Ephraim Center provides treatment for Orthodox Christians in recovery from, or experiencing difficulty with, addictive behaviors such as Alcohol and other substance abuse, Pornography and other non-violent sex addictions, Gambling, and more.

Intensive Outpatient Program

The St. Ephraim House of Healing is pleased to announce a new intensive outpatient addiction recovery program. This program is designed for Orthodox clergy or laity who would benefit from short-term intensive addiction recovery work. Because addiction is a family illness, family members are also welcome, with or without their addict present.

Treatment services include individual counseling; thorough psychological, nutritional, spiritual, and addiction assessment; an in-depth and concrete treatment plan; supplements to reduce withdrawal symptoms; nutritional counseling; medical testing and referral as needed; spiritual counseling and confession; and a continuing care plan to ensure the greatest success after you return home.

Individual Counseling

Our clinical staff members have more than 100 years of cumulative experience and are experts in a wide range of therapeutic methods for dealing with addiction, mental health, mental health nutrition, recovery and relapse prevention as well as addictive family issues such as co-dependency.
